Biter bit

Post by MajGenl.Meade »

There's a book review website out there in the interwebs called bookpleasures. Here's an interesting juxtaposition from their blurb "how to submit your book for review".....
***Please do not request a review if your book has not been edited by a competent editor.
Books that are not professionally edited will not be considered.
If you wish to have your book for a review consideration using are regular service by one of bookpleasures' reviewers, please submit the following information:
And an F for sentence construction

They ignored my request for a review of my book, probably because it pointed out the poor English. Their website remains unchanged.

Send your book to me, Meade. I'll happily review it, and point out any grammar mistakes you might have overlooked. ;)

Certainly, how would you like me help him starve?

Meade, you will have to PM me with a reminder of your real name - I'm assuming it's not listed on Amazon under MajGenl. Meade. ;)

Author name (a pseudonym) is Peter Brian. Go for the book title - Snooks North and South. And a good word for Squish the Safety Squirrel - cheaper and nastier. It's better in colour.

And Gob - you're doing a fine job already. Well done! A*

Ah, that explains why I couldn't find it under your actual name.

Yeah that 11.69 is something Amazon came up with. They tell you it's not possible to use any figure that doesn't end in .99 but I guess they can. It's a huge sale aint it? Now I'd be willing to sell 'em direct for oh.... $8.99 plus p+p which at book rate for one seems to be $3.50 so 12.49 all in. And I'll sign 'em as well. All I need to do is put it up on eBay. Which is pending. It's an expensive job being an author.

Is that why Hillary says she's broke?

I have Kindle Unlimited, so I get to read it right now for FREE!

However, I always like to purchase books published by friends, and especially to have them inscribed. If you'll PM me your mailing address, Meade, I'll send a check along with my mailing address to which you can send my inscribed copy. ;)
