Oh for Pete's sake. Walter White dolls are not being marketed to unsuspecting tots. Nor are they directed toward adolescents in an effort to normalize meth dealing through play. Exactly how many adolescents have you seen actually playing with dolls? (The Star Wars cult excepted, of course.)

These are novelty toys for grown-ups. They are clearly aimed at people who watched Breaking Bad and are fans of the show. That audience is primarily adults, and not even teens. (Anecdotally, my teenage son, who is a fairly indiscriminate consumer of pop culture, never had any interest in the show, and from what I can tell, neither did his peers; they are much more keyed into broad comedies and slasher/horror movies.)

People get their panties all twisted over the most ridiculous things.
GAH!

Well that's all right then!
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

How'd you feel about candy cigarettes? OK or not OK and why? How about a doll set "Ken rapes Barbie"? Or a female doll with bruises and cuts - Hooker and Pimp set?

What's wrong with those things if drug pushing is a valid adolescent play-activity?
Well first of all, I tend to agree with Sue about the market; and these are being marketed to adults more than kids or adolescents.

But to answer your question, I've never been against candy cigarettes--again some will disagree, but they did not make kids smoke anymore than some of the other things led to the consequences claimed. Ken rapes Barbie--not sure what that would be as ken could be used to simulate raping Barbie as supplied (and kids are often encouraged by mental health professionals to use doll to act things out and show what they cannot say. Hooker and pimp dolls? I'm surprised they don't exist now (if they don't); halloween stores have hooker and pimp costumes, and have had them for years. Id doubt they're recruiting tools.

when we played guns as kids, it was good guys and bad guys, which we too took turns at playing.
a very good lesson in the battle between good and evil that life is.

are there any good guys in the breaking bad collection? I ve never seen more than 5 minutes of the show, so I really don t know.
