Calmly coming over to look after the jackass after her friend retaliated against him, and continuing to keep her cool to make sure the jackass wasn't seriously hurt even after the jackass' cameraman tried to pick her up...

But also refusing to give the jackass her friend's name, preventing the jackass from causing trouble for him...

She really handled the situation well...

If you look at the beginning of the clip it's aparent that several young ladies are present. In fact if you look at the OP without even playing the clip, guess what you see?

But my other observation was spot-on. A group of all young males, with no older males, is prone to bad behavior. The presence of a woman does not change that fact. Although based on 10 years of working with college students a group of young males with no women is often prone to even worse behavior.

Wes, you may not have seen this before; this is an example of where rube substitutes a completely new statement, pretending that it's the same as his original statement, rather than manning up and admitting the first statement was wrong, or at the very least poorly and misleadingly worded. He uses this technique frequently:

Here's his original statement:

I was saying that a group which consists of exclusively young males needs the influence of older males to improve their behavior. This group was entirely of young males.

Here's the new statement:

A group of all young males, with no older males, is prone to bad behavior. The presence of a woman does not change that fact.

In the first statement clearly he's saying this is a group of all males; which obviously it is not.

In the second statement, he tries to fix this. But he insists the two statements are the same:

Here's what he should say, but will not:

"My first statement was poorly worded, and the meaning was unclear. What I meant to say was that even in a mixed group of males and females, (such as the one in the clip) if the males in the group are all young, they will be more prone to bad behavior than if there are older males present."

One can argue that point, (I would say it depends on the older males; there are plenty that are as immature as younger ones, and sometimes younger ones will act more aggressively to impress them.) but at least it isn't falsified by the video clip like the statement, "This group was entirely of young males" .

While his (singular) inability to admit obvious facts reflects poorly on him, it should be noted that at least rube has apologized for something, and as I believe this is only the second time in 15 years that he has done so, it's certainly an occasion for celebration:
