A question for the hunters on the board...

What's the best ammo to use when hunting West Coast Liberals?

I understand the 30-06 is pretty good, but I've also heard good things about the .30-30 Win....

They're slow moving, but they have tough rear hides; rather like mule deer...

Highly effective (and it pisses them off too):

Neither of you is funny, and these alleged "jokes" are beneath you both.

Stop it.

We are funny. This particular exchange may not have been.

To clarify one thing - the drone/Obama picture was meant to indicate that drones are effective and Obama's continued use of them upsets west coast liberals.

I was not intending to indicate the use of drones against the President, who is not (AFAIK) a west coast liberal.

I find it amusing.
By the way, I use a 350 magnum (remington 600 rifle). Never know when you may encounter a pissed off bear, bobcat or moose while tracking a west coast liberal and the 350 magnum has the stopping power for all of them.

This thread is such a waste of bandwidth, basically anything that can be thrown in to make it more amusing is more than fair game...

You don't like Hunting West Coast Liberals In The Wilds Of California?

If you didn't find that theme amusing, I guess you really wouldn't like the recipe for cooking them I was planning to post... 8-)

I frankly don't understand why you two are so upset about this...

We're not mocking any real person who has suffered a loss, etc...

We're engaging in National Lampoon/Onion style satire poking fun at an "arch-type" (ie, "West Coast Liberals")

I have to wonder if you would be equally offended if the exact same humor were directed at "right-wing rednecks"....

Yes, that's a concern...

Perhaps a captive breeding program would help in that regard...they could be cross bred with the far more common Hollywood West Coast Liberal Familiaris...

Then release them back into the wild with radio collars, so we can track their progress...

You've totally derailed and good and important discussion -- and ignored the refashioned question Econo and I both asked. But I guess that just proves Econo's point. Republicans don't give two shits about the environment.

Not to mention all the talk about violence and promoting same just isn't funny. Not sure why you'd need *any* of that explained to you.

Oh yeah, and I don't see any liberal here making going comments about using guns on republicans, nor do I see them using the word redneck to describe any segment of society (I think @W used it or something similar to describe her own background, but that's the only mention I recall).

Do a search, there is *one* liberal who used redneck/rednecks this year to describe a segment of society, and it wasn't Sue, or BigRR, or I.

MajGenl.Meade wrote:Another point flies over rubato's head. The quote he provides does not say anything at all about rich people not caring about poor people etc.

What it says is that the rich people own the property in which the poor people live and clean air regulations will make the poor people's air cleaner, thus allowing the rich cats to charge higher rents. In other words, the rich have a financial interest in clean air in the close-to-the-highway-and-smog areas.

Of course, I suppose some of them might not care about the people per se.

BTW: D+ for spelling and coherence, rube. Hit that edit button quickly!
Try reading the link. What it says is that the rich can view their interests in a narrowly personal way and that they can "buy" for themselves a better environment to live in and fuck those who can't do so. It says that they are making the calculation "why should we suffer to raise the property values of someone else which will only devalue ours (in relative terms).

F- for total ignorance on your part.

They have derailed the argument because they had no response. The facts are obvious and glaring. The Republicans are consistently opposed to any environmental protection.

Actually rubato, the link you provided (and which I did read) said no such thing.

My post dealt with the quote that YOU chose to emphasize and you have no recourse other than to continue distorting your own sources.
