Sad news I'm afraid.

Post by Gob »

Just received an e-mail from Miles's daughter.

Unfortunately our big mate passed away on December the seventh.

Miles and I were regular off board correspondents, though I had not heard form him for some time, so I'm assuming he'd been unwell, I know he had ongoing health issues.

Sorry I have no further details.

RIP big fella, sorry we never got to sink those beers together,.

He is missed. When you correspond with his daughter, I'm sure you'll pass on our condolences (and probably already have)

I too talked with Miles "off line" a few times (years ago now that I think of it). Sad to hear this news.
And please pass my condolences on to his daughter if you coorespond with her again.
RIP Miles my prayers are with you and your family.

How sad, RIP Miles.

Very sad. RIP Miles.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

It would have been his birthday tomorrow. :-(
