Got back a little while ago from doing my last minute shopping...
All the food is pretty much pre-prepared for tomorrow, (it's our turn to host the holiday) all we'll need to do is shove the prime rib, baked potatoes and stuffed mushrooms into the oven, saute the asparagus, and we're pretty much good to go...
Jimmy's getting his first real bike this year, (it's a small one with training wheels of course, but he's really wanted one) and it's already assembled, hidden in the garage, so I won't be having to be putting it together at 2 in the morning...

(it's a Santa present)
Tati is out spending some time with her friends, but she knows she needs to be back here by nine for our family Christmas Eve tradition; watching
Miracle On 34th Street (the original of course)...
Then after the kids are in bed Lady Kelly and I will enjoy our favorite Christmas Eve tradition...(no, not
that one you dirty minded people...)
Sitting in front of the fire, with everything for the holiday finally done, listening to Christmas music on a low volume and sharing the cognac and biscottis we leave out for Santa...
(Yeah I know it's supposed to be milk and cookies, but as I believe I mentioned a few years ago, we do cognac and biscottis...Like I told Tati at the time and have since explained to Jimmy, "Yeah, most people leave him milk and cookies, but it's cold flying around up there...When he gets to our house and sees what
we've left him, we'll get really good presents....

)
