Which Dr. Seuss character are you?

Seuss Quiz
Cindy Lou Who
Image

Kind, curious, sweet, and small
You are easily the cutest of them all!

With eyes full of wonder
And dreams ne'r too big
Your heart lives to love
and your hands itch to dig

You care deeply for others
And take them as your own
Your heart is enormous
This you have surely shown

Our official results
peg you and Cindy Lou
As one and the same
Tis nothing but true!

We can't imagine you getting any other Who
Can you?
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

The Cat in the Hat!

Image

Mischief afoot? Surely not you
We can't imagine it coming from you!

Not a fine upstanding cat,
one refined like yourself
Who's secrets aren't secretive
Nothing's shelved in your shelves

No, no - You're as you seem!
Charming, charismatic, helpful and lean!

(It's really OK,
we wont say a thing
You keep doing you
Keep living the dream!

Your secrets are all
quite safe with us here
Mischief's your middle name
Cat's are never as they appear!)

I swore off these buzz quizzes
They all seem so inane
But I love Dr. Seuss
So I couldn't refrain.

(Alternative last line: "Well, that's time down the drain.")

The quiz results said
That I'm Cindy Lou Who
Really I'm not
So this quiz isn't true. :shrug

P.S. I noticed that many of the questions were really two different (rhyming) questions and often my answer to the first question was different from my answer to the second question. (For example: "Which of these words do you like the best?"/"Which of them would you blurt right out in jest?")

I'm not sure which of us should be the most worried.....

Thing 1 & Thing 2!
Image
Are you Thing 1? Or Thing 2?
We have no preference, do you?

We doubt that you do
being the thing that you are
You'd rather have fun
than take this that far

So lets have some fun!
Which is what you do best
Living life in the fast lane
Wearing thrills like a vest

Others think you're crazy
and they're slightly correct
No thing desires normalcy
What do they expect?

Just keep your hair crazy
never drop that big grin
For those who are happy
Are in for the win!
Yeah, that's about right.
GAH!

I will not take this silly quiz,
tho I m sure to be a whiz.

I will not take it in my house,
I will not take it in my mouth.

I will not take it here or there,
I will not take it any where.

I do not like this quiz you see
it makes me hurt where I pee.

I will not take it in my head,
I will not take it in my bed.

I will not take it in my ear,
not in front, not in rear
I will not take it drinking beer.

I will not take it, I think I ll pass,
I will not take it, I m an ass!

I had green eggs and ham pretty much memorized when my son was young. he did love the way I read that book. good memory. thanks.

The rhymes are the whole reason for the thread - I wish somebody had posted the Grinch rhyme! I don't think I could possibly get that result no matter how many times I took the quiz.

wesw, yours was great - thanks for sharing! :ok

It's easy if you know how...

Please don't get upset
We know what you're thinking
"I got The Grinch!?
Time to start drinking!"

But please don't despair
Its not your demeanor at all
Well, it was at one time
When you heart was too small

But since then you've grown!
You've blossomed and glistened
You decided to learn,
To love and to listen!

Life had you down,
dragged you straight through the mud
But you got right back up
And punched life with a thud

Hold your chin up high
You've been through the worst
The best is to come
And you'll come out first!

Other than being made aware that the grinch stole Christmas, I don't remember ever reading anything by Seuss. So I've nothing to add. I hope you're not sad.

I speak for the trees

Image
Who thinks you're grumpy?
Who'd say such a thing?
Maybe one of the people
Who squished up a dream?

You have a great bit of trouble
with society and greed
They tick you right off
Make your heart bleed

You protect what you love
And hold strong beliefs
So if that makes you stubborn
Then stubborn you'll be!

Nature is Home
and Home is Nature
Is it too much to ask
For humanity to mature?

We think not.
You might.
We'll see?
Maybe!

words are easy, words are fun
my mouth is, my gatlin gun

rhymes they come, and rhymes they go
the rhyming river always flows

rhymes are easy, just like prose
rhymes can get right up your nose

rhymes can sing and rhymes can cry
rhymes can feed you humble pie

rhymes can sink a mighty ship
rhymes can loosen lovely lips

rhymes can tear and rhymes can rip
they can cause your eyes to drip

rhymes can grow a lovely smile
rhymes can waste a little while

rhymes are tasty rhymes are raw
rhymes can cause a heart to thaw

rhymes can be a sturdy steed
rhymes can soften surly meade

rhymes can teach, and deceive
I am joe! do you believe?

At the end of this thread where the grickle tree grows
And the wind smells slow and sour 'cos it's Joe's
No birds ever sing excepting old crows
Is the street of the lifted Syntax

And deep in the grickle trees some people say
If you look deep enough you can still see today
Where the Syntax once stood just as long as it could
Before somebody lifted the Syntax away.

What was the Syntax? Why was it there?
Why were commas inverted and taken somewhere?
From the far end of town where the grickle trees grow
The old wes-ler still lives here, just ask him, he's Joe.
