Beware the Ides of March...

Post by Guinevere »

... For you may break the all time winter snowfall record.

2.9 inches recorded at Logan tonight, for 108.6 inches, topping 95/96 by an inch (and it's still coming down)!

Dear god, hope you and yours are safe Guin. Keep us informed.

Oh this is nothing. A little icing on the cake. Spring is only 5 days off - glad the misery was worth the bragging rights later

I remember living through a record rainfall year in college. My roommates and I were pulling for more rain to get the record. One guy who moved in during the year from out of state was equally enthusiastic, but we told he doesn't get the record since he wasn't there the whole year!

No more snow here. What was dumped over the past two months has been melting rapidly.
Time to head up to Pa and "summerize" the snowmobiles.

Spring occurs at 6:45pm tonight and is bringing another 3-6" of snow for us.
I like snow but am ready for the seasons to change.
And the dafodils are coming up. I think we missed the snow crocusses.
