Apparently you see some substantive distinction between saying "went whooshing over your head" and being "completely clueless" (a distinction which frankly is not immediately apparent to me...it must be a
very subtle distinction...perhaps you can illuminate it for me) so I wanted to make sure I quoted you precisely....
I think myself, and @W and Meade have all already made our cases for why we believe our interpretation is correct, so I don't really understand why you are asking at this point why we think our interpretation is the correct...
Frankly it seems to me that it is
you, (and one of your compadres in this debate) who seem to be insisting (adamantly) that
your interpretation, and
your interpretation alone is the one and only truly acceptable interpretation...

You seem to absolutely refuse to accept even the possibility that anyone (white or black) could
possibly find anything offensive to black people in that video unless they failed to grasp the "brilliant satire" it contains...(and as I said there ain't nothing "brilliant" about that "satire"; the point they think they're making is juvenile, obvious and sophomoric...it's basically intended as jerk-off video for white liberals. )
