Vote for Ben Carson. He has no experience in politics to get in his way as he works to get political things done.

He is very much in touch with us common folk. He knows that becoming a homosexual is a choice that heterosexuals make. He knows that Obama is black only because he chose not be white like his mother.

Ben is a retired brain surgeon. Choosing to vote for him is a no-brainer.

Cast your vote for Ben - Can I hear an amen!??

Well to be fair LR, her statement
With different policies over the last 20 years, all of this could be avoided
goes quite a bit further than just saying we would have more water stored, it says this all could have been avoided but for the liberal environmentalists (I guess the conservative environmentalists, and there are some, just don't count). The drought is not the result of a failure to plan and something that could be avoided; turn the whole state into a reservoir and the drought would still be with us; it is a lack of rain/precipitation that is causing it, and that will not be affected by storage. True, more storage might mean that the drought's effects might not be felt as severely (at least for a longer period of time), but it hardly would have been avoided.

Is Carly Fiorina going to bring back the Demon Sheep (oh please oh please oh please!)? Because that was some weird shit! It's going to be hard to top 2012 for sheer comedy in the GOP primaries, but with Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson in the running, "strange" may be the best descriptor for 2016.

Where I was born. Where my Dad attended college. Of course, no one is disputing Carson's medical cred.

Well, Mike Huckabee is now making his bid to lose the 2016 GOP nomination. Presumably Ted Nugent would be his pick for Veep, but I guess we'll never know.

From recent events I thought Norris was looking at the Cruz ticket.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Rick Santorum, a Christian conservative who came second in the 2012 Republican primaries, has launched a second campaign for the US presidency.

Mr Santorum launched his campaign on Wednesday at an event in his home state, Pennsylvania. The former senator won several key races in 2012, emphasising social issues like abortion and gay marriage. But he may have trouble standing out in the crowded the field of 2016 Republican candidates.

Santorum stuck to his key themes of traditional family structure, increased support for middle-class working families and lower taxes in his speech. "As middle America is hollowing out, we can't sit idly by," Santorum said. "We don't need another president who is tied to big government or big money. Today is the day we begin to fight back."

He also talked about supporting US war veterans and getting them access to healthcare quicker. Santorum said if he is elected president, the US "will defeat ISIS".

Ahhh Carly, so inept at technology that she was paid off to get out of HP after she wrecked it with one stupid move after another splitting off Agilent and then buying Compaq (why? why? why?).

And so inept at math and science that her solution to the drought is ... MORE BUCKETS! BIG ONES!

That puts her at the top of the heap for Republicans. But its a mighty big heap and no one is standing downwind of it just now.

ok joe. this is a tough one, and I don t know if anyone has stood by carson over his gayness comments. now I m no expert , but I m a fairly good observer of life, and you don t become a good gambler without understanding what you see around you, what makes people tick, and I m sure I will be corrected if I m wrong, but carson was not entirely incorrect in my humble view....

....from what I have gleaned from life I believe that some people are born as queer as 3 dollar bills, god made em that way. they might hide it, they might have a family, but they are who they are , like it or not....

....then there are people who would bang a snake if you held it s head, they just want to get off, do they choose to be homosexual? maybe....

...there are also guys who are just cripplingly shy around girls, they like em, but are scared to death of them. birds of a feather flock together and these guys end up pretending each other are hot chicks and go to town, maybe they stay in town, maybe not.... do they choose to be gay? it would seem so to me...

...then, as carson mentioned, there is the prison thing. do people in jail choose to have homosexual relations? it would seem so...

just my view....

Not to sound overly optimistic but I think the temp is almost up to 'tepid.'
