actual board suggestion:
Could we get an "are you sure" prompt when we logout? I am constantly accidentally hitting the Logout button on my phone and I hate having to log back in.

Are you sure?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Re: Sticky board suggestions page!
Is it feasible to add an on/off button to each thread - "IGNORE THIS THREAD"
This would be useful in cases where, as unlikely as it seems, a person is busy chattering inane drivel to himself alone.
One does like to reduce the "Unread Posts" to zero on each visit - but one must click on the thread in order to make it open and then go away. This means the inane driveller thinks that he is getting lots of views - when it's just me avoiding viewing the damn thing at all
The same result can be achieved with the foe feature but the inane driveling poster may once in a while not totally slobber in a post in other threads. One doesn't want to avoid the wheat (a grain or two) in the mountain of chaff
I'm sure some folks would like to ignore threads that I start. I certainly would

I thought there was a "mark as read" option somewhere.
I guess you can't remember the title of threads that are full of inane drivel? Too many to count?

It's not that. There's only one that's going on like bad case of dysentery. I like an empty "Unread Posts" page. And there's no way to achieve it without rewarding the arse with a "View". Another suggestion would be a newspaper so we can whack it on the nose. Hmm. .... a gif?Guinevere wrote:I thought there was a "mark as read" option somewhere.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here Gen'l, and guess that just maybe it's this thread that has served as the inspiration for your request:

Re: Sticky board suggestions page!
When I was younger I never thought I'd see the day when someone would complain about having to push a button (click) a couple extra times. But that's what the interworld has come to.
I understand why some people might not like what another person is posting or the style in which he posts but I don't believe that everything I don't like needs to have a mechanical fix.
But that's just me and if you don't like my opinions I can be placed on your foe list...

This thread is for suggestions for the board. Not for stupid discourse. There are places for that (take a number)
