purple pea eater

Post by wesw »

well, I have about 50 pea plants in a garden bed, the edible pod type. we had a rain last night, thank god, and they were all in bloom this morning.

the strange thing is...

all the blooms were white except for one plant. it had a purple bloom and purple tinges in the crotches of it s branches (hee hee, purple crotches)

Mine used to be pinkish purple but has been white for the past few years. I heard it has to do with the soil ph level.
