I will admit that the only reason I knew about Nanaimo bars was because I had just heard about them the other day on NPR, in a segment where a reporter was trying to identify the quintessentially Canadian food. (Apparently the butter tart is the front-runner for the title.) But Tim Hortons and poutine is generally the extent of my knowledge of Canadian cuisine.

Now it can be told:

Big RR is wesw. Lord Jim also posts as rubato. BSG is also @W & Beer Sponge. dgs49 also posts as Scooter. Crackpot sometimes uses the name liberty. Gob once posted using the name LoCAtek but it became too much for him and he had to be committed to an asylum which is where he now posts from.
