Australian Georgia Page has become an overnight internet sensation after playing on in a women's rugby sevens match in Chester, Pennsylvania despite breaking her nose in a tackle.
Page took a nasty blow to the face while playing for Lindenwood University in the Collegiate Rugby Championship, before getting up and dishing out a big hit of her own on her Notre Dame University opponent.
The referee ordered the Lady Lions star to leave the pitch in order to receive medical attention, before the newly dubbed 'Rugby War Goddess' returned to the field in the second half.
Lindenwood's 24-17 victory saw them book a place in the final, where they were overpowered by Penn State.
The competition was the season closer, however Page is resisting the urge to take some time off, later tweeting that she will be back in training after a week's recuperation.
Rugby, not a game for softies.
Rugby, not a game for softies.

Duh.

On the other hand, the only way to get injured in a cricket game is if you accidentally poke yourself with your fork during the lunch break....

Don't forget it's legal to bowl AT the batsman in cricket.
