Jim's day tomorrow....
Jim's day tomorrow....
will start with ...
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Perhaps but then he Pirates would have to take the series next year..............Lord Jim wrote:Of course if the Redskins should happen to win The Super Bowl.....

I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.

Redskins Jim? You're not a niners fan?
Being a half hearted Eagles (and a quarter hearted Cowboys) fan, I really don't think I could stand Redskins spam. Here's hoping they crash and burn.

How about some football Giants spam?

Re: Jim's day tomorrow....
Big RR, I may have lived out here for 24 years, but as any Washingtonian will tell you, there's no such thing as a "former" Redskins fan...(it's kinda like that "no such thing as a former Marine" deal)Redskins Jim? You're not a niners fan?
I don't wish the Niners ill, and I'll root for them if the 'Skins don't make it, (it's not like the Niners are The Dallas Cowboys) but I'm a hardcore Redskins fan....
On the other hand, it was easy for me to adopt the Giants as my home baseball team, since the home baseball team I would have grown up with, (The Washington Senators) was stolen and moved to Arlington Texas when I was 11 years old....

I'll bet some fans have a few owners they hope reside there too.

Re: Jim's day tomorrow....
I remember back in the early eighties, a girlfriend of mine telling me that Robert Short had passed away...
My reaction was .....
Good.....
Now he's in Hell where he belongs....
