i just wanted to get ahead of the president, who , as I knew he would, jumped right on it.

and I brought out sue, who called for repeal of the second amendment. at least she is honest about her view , and her desire to advance it in a LEGAL way, which I appreciate.

gob, I apologize, because, I don t think that you realize how the views that you espouse are dividing our country and putting our union at risk.
it irritates me especially because you are thousands of miles away and have no stake in whatever happens here.

I don t comment much on the internal politics of other democracies (other than a few obligatory shots at the aristocracy ), because I have no idea of the reality of the situation there.

There is a way to keep guns out of the hands of unstable individuals and it would be constitutional. The constitution does protect the right of individuals have guns, but it was written for the militia. So only members of the civilian militia should have guns and all other individuals and their cars should be subject to searches. Who is a member of the militia? Any adult citizen of good standing who is willing to defend the community, state and nation in time of crisis. Who can not belong to the militia? Any person who has felony records, is mentally unstable for any reason and who is unwilling to have their name appear on the militia rolls and no pacifist or anyone unwilling to server in the military.

I think that perhaps the best thing we can do, as a nation, to end gun violence, is to round up some known criminals, which will not be easy.
let s start with the little white Nazis, and make their life hell, then we can crack the cartels backs by shutting down the southern border and locking up every known gang member, using the RICO laws, ditto for the domestic latino gang members, ditto for the crips, bloods, gorillas and panthers. ditto for the hells angels and all the 1% ers that wreak havoc on our land. the fbi has enough info on all kinds of hate groups and criminal enterprises for the justice dept to drop RICO charges on all of them.

then we can release all non violent offenders, with exceptions for carreer criminals, and let the black community heal.
