That sounds like a George W. Bush line...I think that many of them say, ‘Well, you’re a hypocrite, you say one thing, you say the other.’
Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
Well, that certainly clears that up....

A SPINELESS JELLOFISH
Cosby, in true doublespeak mode, say absolutely nothing of substance. He say it's all "mean-spirited and reckless rhetoric." OK, fine. But can 35 women accusers (so far) be so vengeful and wrong? Please, Bill, take your Spanish Fly humor and just go away.

Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
If you think about what Cosby said, he seems to be saying that people should focus on his public image as a person with wit and wisdom and accept him for that, and that the many rapes he committed are his personal business.
I'm funny and I say wise things, like telling black kids to pull up their pants. Don't let the fact that I'm a serial rapist influence your opinion of me and blind you to my message...

And calling Cosby a mere run-of-the-mill "serial rapist" probably doesn't do him justice...
There's a very strong possibility that he is in fact one of the most prolific serial rapists in American history....

Unfortunately I doubt that's true

Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
I saw the story about Cosby...
Sickening, but not surprising...
Those admissions came in a deposition 10 years ago, and even at that time, they were well past the statute of limitations, (which of course Cosby knew) he seems to be almost bragging about what he did...(I think a large part of the turn on for this sociopathic pervo is knowing how much he got away with...) Also Cosby's lawyer stopped him from answering the question of whether he gave women the drugs without their knowledge, so all he's really admitting to is "consensual" drug providing....
So I guess what he's saying is that women who consented to have sex with him preferred not to be aware of the experience...
That part at least is believable...

Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/20 ... -phylicia/Bill Cosby defender Jill Scott says she was wrong; Judd Apatow calls on Phylicia Rashad to speak up
Recently unsealed testimony from a 2005 case against Bill Cosby puts the famous faces who have stood up for the 77-year-old comedian in an uncomfortable position.
Stars Jill Scott and Whoopi Goldberg vehemently defended the accused rapist and former sitcom star, as did his “Cosby Show” costars Phylicia Rashad and Keshia Knight Pulliam, though they did so with less exuberance.
The unsealed testimony revealed that the legendary funnyman admitted to purchasing quaaludes with the intent to give them to young women he hoped to have sex with.
Scott took to Twitter to admit she had been wrong.
“About Bill Cosby,” Scott wrote on Twitter late Monday, “sadly his own testimony offers PROOF of terrible deeds, which is ALL I have ever required to believe the accusations.”
She continued, “1) We live in America. Many African American men are detained &/or imprisoned for crimes without evidence. I will never jump on bandwagons. 2) Based on social media or hearsay. Proof will always matter more than public opinion. The sworn testimony is proof. Completely disgusted.”
Scott explained that she stood by Cosby because she “respected and loved” him. “I was wrong. It HURTS!!!... Reasoning with the angry & unreasonable? No. I'm not sorry for standing by my mentor. I'm sorry the accusations [are] true.”
The recent Cosby revelations came from comments he made in 2005 when he was being questioned by a lawyer for former Temple University employee Andrea Constand, who accused him of sexual assault. That was settled before trial.
Cosby also answered questions about a sexual relationship with a woman in 1978. The woman went public last November with allegations he drugged and assaulted her two years earlier, when she was 19. That woman has accused Cosby of defamation over his denials.
In reference to that incident, Cosby recalled, “I meet (the accuser) in Las Vegas. She meets me backstage. I give her quaaludes. We then have sex.”
The release of the new testimony was not enough to convince Goldberg or former co-star Raven Symoné of his guilt, they said on "The View" Tuesday.
Goldberg cautioned viewers against making snap judgments against Cosby while Symoné didn't contribute much to the conversation except to say it was a tough topic for her to discuss as she credits the TV icon with helping her break into show business.
These latest revelations have also served as more ammunition for some of Cosby’s most emphatic critics.
Judd Apatow, who has repeatedly criticized Cosby, tweeted, “It's a very sad situation. Now can we all stand up and support the victims? Will silence continue?”
The director took the opportunity to demand answers from some of Cosby’s famed defenders, “I also hope Camille Cosby and Phylicia Rashad will now stand with the victims and not with their attacker,” he told Esquire.
Reps for Goldberg, Rashad and Knight Pulliam did not immediately return FOX411’s request for comment regarding the latest Cosby news.

I agree that financial ruin on top of public disgrace would be a welcome development, however I was surprised to learn that criminal conviction is still not out of the question. there are a couple of possibilities:
http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/former-bill- ... ew-chargesFormer Bill Cosby prosecutor: Deposition could support new charges
The prosecutor who investigated allegations that Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted Andrea Constand in 2004 says he is not surprised by new revelations that the embattled comedian admitted to acquiring sedatives to use on women. But Bruce Castor, the former district attorney for Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, believes the deposition released on Monday could support criminal perjury charges against Cosby.
Castor, who oversaw a 2005 investigation that did not result in charges against Cosby, said the newly released testimony adds a detail that supports his suspicions about Cosby.
While most of the sexual assault allegations against Cosby are simply too old to prosecute, barred by state statute of limitations laws, Castor believes the deposition itself could provide the basis for new criminal charges against Cosby.
“I can tear that deposition apart,” Castor said, “and anything that I can prove is a material lie would still be subject to a perjury investigation and prosecution.” Perjury is a third-degree felony in Pennsylvania, punishable by up to seven years in prison.
Castor is not simply speaking as an observer or former officeholder – he is currently a candidate for his old D.A. job.
He began campaigning in January, and has won his past four elections, most recently for his current post as Montgomery County commissioner.
While judges are barred from discussing specific cases during campaigns, Castor said he is free to specifically outline a new case against Cosby.
Referring to a new perjury investigation, Castor said “that’s what I would do, given the opportunity.” His legal theory is that because any potential perjury in Cosby’s deposition was sealed and unavailable, the clock for charging it should only begin this week.
“Most people would think the statute of limitations has run on the perjury from that deposition, but in fact, a good argument can be made that it has not run,” he proposed, “because it could not have been discovered because the records were sealed all these years.” The statute of limitations for perjury in Pennsylvania is five years.
While many critics of Cosby want him to face criminal prosecution for the underlying sex crimes allegations, not charges regarding civil testimony, Castor said the consequences for a perjury prosecution of Cosby are quite serious: “You put that old man in prison for three and half to seven years, he’ll die.”
LAPD investigating Bill Cosby's alleged sexual abuse of young model
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that its criminal investigation into Bill Cosby's alleged sexual assault of then 18-year-old model Chloe Goins is open and active.
"There is an investigation open," LAPD spokesperson Norma Eisenman told FOX411.
Goins, now 25, said Cosby, 77, drugged her at the Playboy Mansion, and she awoke naked and found Cosby over her.
Goins' lawyer said the comedian’s unsealed testimony that he gave women quaaludes before having sex bolsters his client’s case.
“This disclosure is very helpful to Ms. Goins investigation, both criminally and potentially in a civil action,” attorney Spencer Kuvin told FOX411. “We can use this testimony to prove his modus operandi as a serial sex abuser.”
Goins met with Los Angeles police detectives in January to pursue criminal charges against the comedian.
Neither the LAPD or Kuvin would speculate then on what charges Cosby might face, and both noted that the statutes of limitations for sex offenses are complex.
Kuvin said Goins came forward after hearing about other women describing abuse by Cosby and realized she might have a valid criminal case.
“The release of this prior testimony merely confirms what over 35 women have been saying for a year now, that Mr. Cosby is a serial sex offender,” Kuvin said. “We now have confirmation, by way of his own sworn testimony, that he obtained drugs to give to others. This is exactly what all of his victims have been saying. It's nice that there is now hard evidence that is public to disprove his prior hypocritical comments by him and his lawyer in the media."
As for Goins’ criminal case against Cosby, Kuvin says his client remains committed to seeing Cosby punished for his actions.
“Ms. Goins criminal investigation is currently still open, and I have been in discussions with the Los Angeles police department as recently as last week. We hope that the LAPD use this now released testimony in the prosecution of that investigation,” Kuvin said. “As for any future action by my client in the civil court, she wants to wait for the criminal investigation to be completed before deciding how to proceed. Her focus is seeking justice for what Mr. Cosby did to her and putting him behind bars where he belongs.”

Additionally, if he was still up to this crap as recently as 7 years ago, there maybe another recent case (or perhaps several) that will come to light.
I found Whoopi Goldberg's comment about not making "snap judgements" truly mind blowing...
Forty women, Whoopi.... are they all liars? And now we know that he's copped to his MO...
She should be ashamed of herself for continuing to defend him, no matter what she thinks she may owe to him.

Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
Since the statutes of limitations of run on the cases brought to the forefront, there probably will be no finding of guilty for the assaults; but the evidence seems to be pretty compelling given the number of women who have come forward. If I were on a jury trying him, I would be constrained to believe him innocent until proven guilty, but this is not a court and no one is on a jury. I think everyone is entitled to the benefit of the doubt, but the information brought forth (including his own testimony under oath)doesn't appear to leave very much room for doubt.

When you admit under oath that you gave 'ludes to chicks so you could sex them, I think you've lost the benefit of the doubt.
GAH!
Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
Well isn't the story now that the 'ludes were given in exchange for sex, not to ready the girls for it? I don't buy it either, but he's grasping at straws.
WHOOPI vs WALTER & Co.
Whoopi may soon be changing her tune. The company that signs her paychecks recently removed the bust of Cosby from their theme park. If she continues to champion her idol's cause I hope she backs up the courage of her convictions by leaving 'The View.' Goldberg may be a good actress and Broadway producer but her personal opinions are usually way off base often bordering on the ridiculous.Lord Jim wrote:... Re: Hey, Hey, Hey . . . It's Bill Cosby, Serial Rapist!
This is a sad depressing story on a lot of levels. But the worst one for me is that Bill Cosby sees sex as something you get to do TO someone else rather than WITH someone else.
I mean, if he was just a philanderer and liked sex with a lot of women but treated them with some respect for their autonomy it would be one thing. He could just as easily gone to them straight up and said "do you want to do the wild weasel with me" and some would have said yes and some would have said no and that would be that. Now it would not have been right to his wife to screw around like that but at least it would not have been abusive of all those other women and it would have shown that he might actually like and respect women in general (although being a little lax in the husband department).
I just want him to go away so we never see him or his name ever again.
