While I don't have much experience with it, I would be surprised if a major industrialized country produced the most extreme porn, and would guess that that distinction would belong to a poorer country known for sex trade (like Thailand) or snuff films (much of South America). But then, that is a guess.

Here's my point...

(Which I really didn't think was all that subtle...)

For two weeks now, the news media and the so-called "civil rights activists" have been obsessing with a fetish-like intensity over the "outrage" of the Confederate Battle Flag...

While the urban gang violence that goes on in this country day in and day out represents the greatest danger and threat to minority lives in this country, but doesn't get a scintilla of the level of coverage that all this self-righteous CBF gas-baggery has received....

Gang violence claims far more innocent black lives than rogue cops or white racists; that's just a fact.

I'm not trying to trivialize instances like what happened in the church in Charleston, but such occurrences are thankfully exceedingly rare. Just as many were killed in Chicago over the 4th of July weekend, and such occurrences are commonplace in inner city neighborhoods all over the country. (At the moment I don't believe they even have single person under arrest for a single one of the killings.)

Compare the level of news media coverage between the horrible but very rare event, to the coverage received by the epidemic of gang violence in this country, and the day in-day-out warzone level of carnage it brings....

There is no comparison...

And where's the outrage? Where are the "activitsts", the protests, the marchers,...Where's Al Sharpton? Do black lives only "matter" when they are taken by a white person?

And why aren't the network anchors broadcasting from a street corner on the Southside Of Chicago? Why aren't we seeing live coverage of any of the funerals? Why aren't we seeing story after story about this, day after day? (Such stories are not tough to find; they happen at least several times every day)

With a lot fewer stories to work with, the media has managed to put the impression in the minds of many people that the nation is awash in trigger happy cops who enjoy nothing better than to run around shooting innocent people. But when it comes to the absolute, indisputable, number one threat of violent death to minority youth, it's pretty much:
