Bean's stalk? Oh, bummer!

Post by MajGenl.Meade »

Hmmm, I wonder why I'm not seeing this one in big headlines in much of the major press (but perhaps folks here will prove me wrong on that - I see CNN did a piece):
A second charge of sodomy and sexual abuse has been filed against prominent “gay”-rights activist and Democratic Party fundraiser Terry Bean, a founder of the Human Rights Campaign.

Ahead of a trial in which a jury will decide whether the 66-year-old Bean is guilty of engaging in sex acts with a teenager, Clackamas County, Oregon, prosecutor Scott Healy filed court documents alleging the Portland man had abused another teenager in 1979, the Register-Guard newspaper in Eugene reported

The original case: http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/inde ... end_h.html
Portland police tracked down the 15-year-old boy whose testimony helped lead to the sex abuse indictment against prominent Democrat Terrence P. Bean and his former boyfriend, Kiah L. Lawson, after Lawson gave police the teen's phone number, according to Lawson's former lawyer.....

....The Lane County indictments follow a tumultuous relationship between Bean, 66, and Lawson, 25, that unraveled after Lawson discovered Bean had a hidden camera in the bedroom of his Southwest Portland home in the West Hills, according to Dickey.

Lawson had found Bean was surreptitiously videotaping his sexual encounters with Lawson and a handful of other men, Dickey said. The falling out led to each taking out restraining orders against the other earlier this year, and Bean trying to evict Lawson from Bean's Jantzen Beach condo.

Bean and Lawson met in 2013. Soon, Lawson was living in the condo and was paid about $400 a week by Bean, according to Dickey and Lawson's restraining order against Bean.

Lawson accompanied Bean on several trips, to his Palm Springs' home, to a meeting with President Obama at the White House, to the Dominican Republic and Italy, Dickey said.
And here's a line that positively begs for an award:
"Kiah was totally sucked into this world with this 'jet setter,''' Dickey said.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I haven't seen a word about it on any of the cable news channels...

But then they've been too busy covering the huge CFB and Donald Trump stories to devote air time to anything else...

I haven't even seen a word on the US cable news channels about Omar Sharif's death; I found out about that yesterday because I had the BBC cable news channel on...

(I switched over to them because if I heard one more CFB or Trump story I was going to go into the bathroom and hang myself...)

So did NPR.
