That's a rather detailed response to someone you said you had on "ignore"... :?

She is nuts and could never really ignore anyone because it takes a discipline that someone as crazy as she is lacks.

Ladies, please just stop or start your own thread so everyone else can avoid it.
Or do as you will and continue this unbecoming slag-fest

Thank you

But is it worth kissing? That's what I'd like to know.

It reminds me of a former girlfriend in my College days, who sent me a ten page, single spaced, front and back hand-written letter to let me know I wasn't worth writing to... 8-)

LJ, I ignore 90% of @w's posts. Occasionally in a thread I care about - like this one - I make the mistake of reading something she's posted and it's frightening how often she's trolling me. So sue me, I responded.

Where are the comments about her signature, which is an ongoing troll of me? Where are the comments about her trolling posts?

Oh yeah, you don't see them . . .

As I recall, the same actor who did the voice for "Francis the Talking Mule" did the voice for Mr. Ed....

A country/western singer named Chill Wills...

None.
But I am sure that by entering the fire each time with your can of gasoline dispensed as superior wisdom you are earning big points with the invisible man in the sky. Big points.

I made a polite request of you quite some time back about that trolling sig line and all I got was abuse. Nothing's changed there either, sad to say.

thanks for reminding me older. my American flag sticker finally wore out last year, my '75 ford truck looks naked without it...

maybe I should paint Tibet on the bumper too, in bloody red, dripping letters, since I don t have to worry about getting fired by my Chinese boss anymore......

I mean the orioles sticker is ok, but it needs an American flag opposite it....

But you always have to step in and be the moral authority. Not just in my quarrels but in most I have observed here.
Your arrogance and sense of superiority are as galling as hers.

Yes, I have to say that it's puzzling...

You would think that after all these years, he would realize that whenever he jumps into an interpersonal dispute with this holier-than-thou stuff, the only thing he accomplishes is to prolong and fan the flames of the exchange... (Well that, and getting people pissed off at him...and in this case he's also pissed me off with his ridiculous and gratuitous attempt to draw an equivalence between me and rube... )

In all the many, many times he has done this, prolonging the argument, fanning the flames, and getting people pissed of at him have been the only results of his jumping in....

Every single time, without exception....

Not once, not a single time, have his "interventions" ever resulted in anybody saying anything remotely like this:

"Gosh General, you're so right. My behavior has been awful, I've been a complete fool. Thanks for waking me up."

But yet, it appears he keeps expecting that to happen... :?

Meade is obviously not a stupid person, so it really makes me wonder why it is that he keeps doing the same thing over and over and over, when the results have been uniformly 100% negative...

Why is he not learning from this? Is it secretly his desire to prolong and inflame personal disputes?

I suppose that's possible, but personally I highly doubt it...Meade doesn't seem like that kind of double-dealing game player. I think that he somehow manages to sincerely and honestly believe, despite the absolute 100% evidence to the contrary, that these interventions of his will accomplish something positive. How he manages to convince himself of this absolutely mystifies me....

Like the old saying goes, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result"...
