yeah jim, I I agree pretty much completely with your earlier post. I under estimated his impact too.

I still believe that he won t really harm the serious republican candidates unless he runs third party.

a few other things make it a possibly beneficial thing that he is running....

-he is taking all the heat, the other candidates are skating, the smart ones are waaaaay across the pond on the safe ice
-the other guys are being civil to one another and trump is the bad guy
-he is demonstrating the public support for border security
-he joins, and leads, an enormous flock of candidates. if Hillary ever emerges from her duck blind, she won t know who to shoot at

the whole Manchurian candidate thing is depressing, if true...., we can t survive two in a row.

I don t think that he has any chance to win new Hampshire or iowa.

And she *did* stand up for her former colleague Senator McCain, even when some of the other republicans have failed to condemn Trump (and none of them care about the other hate he has spewed):

PS - the media are all over his financial disclosures, but they appear to be vague enough to not be able to use them for much (so far). More to come on them, and his boastful personal worth statements, I'm sure.

As for the bankruptcies, I think that is a bit of a mixed bag. Certainly one should think long and hard about the hypocrisy of someone claiming to be able to manage a federal budget, who can't manage their own. But lots and lots of people have filed for bankruptcy, and I think it gives him a certain level of sympathy with those folk (especially that least common denominator he appeals to - who like to sneer at the "elite" but can't possibly see that the Donald is the elite of the elite).
