Gorgeous summer evening with the blue moon rising over the park, we did the wave pretty great and lots of fun chants and heckles. Best one of the night - kept coming up over and over - was "free Tom Brady".

Blue Moon Over Fenway
Took my family to the BoSox game tonight; Sox kicked ass which is pretty rare these days, so that was really nice!

Well, you could say the Sox kicked ass all this past week...if you don't care about the color of your Sox...

That reminded me immediately of the immortal doo-wop version of that song performed by the Marcels, which I remember from back when I was just a little bitty Microbus. My parents hated it, so of course I loved it.
I'm not exactly sure when this performance took place (probably within the past 5 years?) but those old guys proved that they definitely still have what it takes!

My favorite version of that song (the incomparable Margot Timmons and the Cowboy Junkies - looking a bit late 80sish):
“I ask no favor for my sex. All I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks.” ~ Ruth Bader Ginsburg, paraphrasing Sarah Moore Grimké
