Pacific Standard Time

Post by Joe Guy »

Hello Boardministrator,

Early this morning in my part of the world we went back to Pacific Standard Time. But the clock on this BBS is still showing Daylight Savings Time. Am I too anxious? Will this change tomorrow?

My control panel is set correctly. Has this always been the case and I'm just now noticing it?

Should this really matter to me?

We have a clock?

It just goes to show you that they will give admin status to any half-wit with an e-mail address that works.

It’s about 2 past 2:00 in the pm here.

"DST" isn't an option. Mine is set to Pacific Standard Time.

You don't have a "DST yes no" option under your time setting?

Maybe I have the deluxe user control panel....

In the upper left hand corner - not all the way up - it says as I write this - "It is currently Sun Nov 07, 2010 5:08 pm"

I went to my Profile and indicted that DST was not in effect. The clock is now correct.

Seems more than a tad odd that we might have to manually make that adjustment twice a year.

Well, I have to say, that inconvenience has left me traumatized....

I could tell you, but first I'll need a $5,000 retainer.
