I spent 5 hours on the road today in intolerable, choking wildfire smoke, and 2 more listening to bullshit parroted by incompetent government twats trying to steal my working class client's children from her, all while being paid a plumbers wage (despite having a modern lawyers educational debt burden), because I believe in defending the rights of 'little' people against the system - and you're going to call me a weasel???

FUCK YOU, WANKER CUNT! :fu :arg

PS, Considering the habitat I was driving through, beside a river, they were most likely river otters. Which are of the weasel family.

well I was trying to make you smile, and get you off your little anger trip.

if you had only gotten that one more credit in furcoatology you wouldn t need that field guide..... (that one was just to annoy you, I purposely left it out the first time)

I do understand your reaction to meade, and sympathize with your view , but the nastiness is..., well, just nasty.

What's so fucking nasty? A little foul language? I think that's stupid, so I'm making a fucking point. Get it now? ;)

The lawyer slams ARE pretty tiresome, wesw. The lawyers on this board are all decent human beings, truly. Save that for somewhere else.

I AM pissed at Meade, though, and was serious when I said his assertions are fighting words, so far as I'm concerned. Swearing at him (because I know he hates it) is nowhere near as 'nasty' as his argument that I shouldn't have the vote should I lose my house or choose to go back to renting someday - which is likely, as my next home's going to be a sailboat - or that I shouldn't have had it until two years ago. FUCK that!

It makes no sense to me that some folks here get so riled up over 'foul' language but think nothing of disgusting ideas. Stupid! :loon

That's your perception, not my intent - or 'need', I don't feel any such 'need'.

I'm a trained advocate and before that I was a trained rhetorician, and speaking meekly is simply not in my DNA. And I AM smart, sorry if it threatens you.

Why do you think I should speak less confidently just because it bothers you? Grow some balls.

well my lawyer slams are all in fun (just like your hate, right?). I did call sue an ambulance chaser once, in anger, but we all make mistakes even you.

the foul language is not the problem, in my view. the problem, that I see, is your seemingly uncontrollable anger and how it effects you and the people around you.

believe it or not, I understand. i was controlled by my anger for most of my life. it can be overcome. it must be understood first tho.

the source of your anger must be understood. not just what you blame it on now or what you blamed it on in the past, but what and who you are really angry at. the true source of my anger was my own failings , my anger had become self hatred and self destruction and self deception as well as anger.

I had to face horrible truths, and admit those truths to others as well as myself.

most importantly, I had to change. after I saw the truth, and the truth destroyed me, I had to change, and I had to rebuild myself.

I had to see and accept the truth for myself first, and I had to try to change my outlook and actions.

once I did that, God was there, and I accepted him. I was no longer too smart for God. I no longer believed that god was for the weak, the stupid, and the dishonest.

then jesus was there, accepting him was even stranger to me. I even decided to read the Bible. started with Job, at the recommendation of a very kind nurse. then a few proverbs for my own curiosity, then the king james new testament. then I read the standard revised American version all the way thru.

another book really led me to jesus tho.

The Robe, I recommend it. it starts off very shallowly and insipidly, but don t give up on it too soon. I almost stopped reading it, but carried on for some reason.

it gets much deeper.

I am glad that you are serving low income clients, that speaks well of you....

....oh yeah, that anger thing, and how I changed? it began with me, and my free will, but it was all Jesus, baby. he saved me.

did they train you to call people cunts?

shall I continue?

You think I'm actually angry???? You don't have that kind of power over me, little wes.

And as I already said, I'm making a point with my frequent use of foul language. Sorry if you don't like it; I find 99% of your posts to be twatish drivel, but I recognize you have the same right to post here in any way you wish as any of the rest of us do.

Wanker.

I'd not let him get away with that one, bsg. That's just beyond the Pale.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Don't be stupid, wes. You've been a dick to me about 85% of the time since you arrived on the scene. You don't 'care' about me; you don't even know me, given your terribly off-base assessment of my character/personality.

Sure, I occasionally suffer from anger and/or despair . . . and occasionally 'suffer' from dozens of other emotions in the range of human emotion, like every other person on the rock. Geez!

I had a frustrating day yesterday in the real world, helping real people deal with really HUGE problems. If I want to use this place as a place to curse and vent frustration, that's entirely my choice. I used to 'care' about people here, but I don't really anymore, I readily admit that. I believe I have good reason to have come to that conclusion over the years and reaffirmed that feeling in a recent review of old postings - but I also recognize it's not an argument worth wasting the time to make in any greater detail to you or anyone else.

Don't take things so seriously, at least not MY posts. I don't need or want your concern, so save it for anybody else who does. (Besides, I'm quite sure you'll be sniping at me nastily again as you've done quite often since coming here. That's an interesting kind of Christian charity you profess to possess. ;) )

Yeah see, that's the evidence that you don't care about my integrity as a fellow child of Christ one little bit. You're just another fucking 'Christian' hypocrite.

being able to laugh at yourself makes it easier....

...you should work on that.

seriously tho, read The Robe, it has an interesting view of the roman elite and slavery in , and after the time of Christ.

it is very good as a book, whether or not you have faith in anything.

the first part seems silly, but continue on....

No thanks, there's not that much time left and my 'want to read' list is very long already.
