What is wrong with proper tea?!?!?!
What is wrong with proper tea?!?!?!
Ran out of teabags, so asked round the office for a loan of one.
I was offered hundreds, which was kind of them. But not one person had a tea flavoured teabag to offer me one!!
They had banana and nettle flavour, Sage rosemary and thyme flavour, ginger and beetroot flavour, lawn grass and dandelion flavour, prune, senapod and butthole flavour, but no fucking proper tea flavour tea.
Serves my right for working out of an office full of nurses, doctors, psychologists, and (spit) social workers I suppose.
I weep.

Re: What is wrong with proper tea?!?!?!
Bergamot flavoring is ok? Bleahhhh.
Black tea is nasty Yuck except for that lovely aromatic china black. The others should all be used to dye fabric or clean industrial drains.

I've got proper tea-flavored tea in my desk. From London, too. You just should have asked the right sort, aka an American

A TRUE American does NOT drink tea!

Proper tea? I feel that term is ambiguous at best.
I really dislike those "disaster bags." To me, they never deliver the more fuller flavor I've come to expect of tea -- especially being raised by a overly demanding, not-so-proper, Englishman. Ergo, I always buy loose tea.
Here's my "proper tea" blend: One part each of Orange Pekoe, Irish Breakfast, and Earl Grey. I usually make a pot each morning using my "Mr. Coffee" machine. (Never tea to the water, ALWAYS water to the tea.) I let it steep for a few minutes and then strain the entire pot into another pot prior to filling my mug. The remaining tea then stays quite acceptable for the rest of the day. Whenever I need a quick fix I turn to the tea-ball-on-a-chain my nan gave me many years ago.
Now that is proper tea. Cheers!

I bought some bacon that the butcher said was 40% off. By the time I got it home it was more like 50%
