Thank heavens for football (and the game played in the USA as well)
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I guess Econo doesn't want to talk about the Cubs...
Maybe he's afraid that will jinx them...

Hockey?

Yes, certainly, because despite the new ball security/testing protocols, TB12 has thrown for 1113 yard and 9 TDs (including number 400 and 401 last week - he's only the 4th QB ever to do so). He's 96 for 133 (73%), and the Pats have scored 119 points. In three games.
He didn't cheat. He doesn't cheat. There was no actual evidence of cheating (and did you know the NFL quietly reinstated the so called "deflators" because yeah, evidence).
How's Kirk Cousins working out for you, LJ? Or did I mean RG3?? No, no sorry, I meant Kirk Cousins.

Awesome results for the Pats so far.
Awesome work by Green Bay demolishing KC last night (they shouldn't have rested for the second half though)
Awful work by the Browns
All's well with the world

Otherwise known as "The Brady Rules"...the new ball security/testing protocols,
Implemented to prevent cheating like that engaged in by Tom Brady....
did you know the NFL quietly reinstated the so called "deflators"
https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015 ... story.htmlNFL allows Patriots to reinstate suspended employees
The NFL has given permission for the Patriots to reinstate the two employees at the center of the Deflategate incident.
Assistant equipment manager John Jastremski and officials locker room attendant Jim McNally had been suspended without pay by the Patriots since May 6, when the NFL released Ted Wells’s report investigating the Patriots’ alleged ball-deflation before January’s AFC Championship game.
The league announced in May that the two employees could not be reinstated without permission from NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent. The Patriots requested that permission last week, McNally and Jastremski met with Vincent this week, and the NFL announced Wednesday that “the Patriots have satisfied the league’s requirements for reinstatement and the league has granted permission for the employees to return.”
Part of the condition was that neither Jastremski nor McNally would be allowed to be involved in the handling, supervision, or preparation of game balls for the 2015 season. McNally, a game-day-only employee, also is barred from serving as a locker room attendant for the game officials.
The Patriots declined to provide details about McNally’s new job or who will be responsible for preparing footballs.
So what happened is that the NFL agreed to a reinstatement based on the petition of The Patriots, not because they had concluded there was some, "lack of evidence". In fact as a condition of their reinstatement, they are specifically banned from having anything to do with game balls.
Which raises the question, "Why would the Patriots want to put them back on the payroll if they can't do the jobs they were supposed to do?"
Which invites the answer, "Because the Patriot request to reinstate them and put them back on the payroll is a payoff for their having stonewalled and not flipping on Brady."

Edited: Never mind, its not worth it. We'll agree to (vehemently) disagree.

The final entry in the record books:
Tom Brady*
They could have just done the right thing and admitted the truth. But that would be the moral standard in curling, not the NFL.
