In Premier League Soccer, Arsenal is currently leading Leicester City 3-1....
How do I happen to know this useless bit of trivia you ask? Because I was clicking around the channels, and for some inexplicable reason this game is being broadcast on USA ...
I guess they couldn't even get Ron Popeil to buy the time slot...

Re: Critically Important Sport News Update...
Rotten score-line that. Never mind - perhaps Arse-'n-all's plane will have a slight accident on the way back to London
Vitally important world-shaking score - Tottenham Hotspur 4 - Manchester City 1.
USA is owned by NBC (or whoever owns them) and NBC has the Premier League rights. So you'll see games on USA, NBCSports and from time to time on NBC itself. Mind, that only seems to have happened when Manchester United were kicking off a 12:30pm (ET) game.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Re: Completely Unimportant Sport News Update...
I get out plenty oldr...
But as I've explained before, watching TV now is frequently what we do en lieu of having a social life...
(However in this particular case, I was flipping around the dial on the kitchen TV while I was making a nice Saturday breakfast for the fam...)
But thanks for your advice and concern...

Re: Completely Unimportant Sport News Update...
It's tied up at 2-2 between Sunderland and West Ham!
I'm going to have to change the channel; I don't think my heart can take the excitement...

Yes, there must be a snooker tournament being aired. Let me know when you find it.

Speaking of snooker or snooking or whatever it is ...

"Perciformes" means "Fish-shaped" which is a pretty damn good name for an order of the same although bordering on circular in logic. Although I think I rather order some nice local oysters instead.
