The Prime Minister’s XI match - a Canberra cricketing tradition

Last summer was the biggest cricket season ever in the history of the ACT. A One Day International, three Cricket World Cup matches, the Big Bash Final, and the return of England for the PM’s XI saw Manuka emerge as one of the premier grounds in international cricket.

The Prime Minister’s XI is the premier summer event in Canberra. The game, starting at 2.20pm on a Friday afternoon, provides the ideal timing for an evening experience without missing a full day at the office.

The match will feature a full strength New Zealand side, led by Brendon McCullum and including superstars Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, and Tim Southee. The Black Caps made it all the way to the final of the Cricket World Cup, and this fixture is a precursor to the highly anticipated Test series.
Got the best seats in the house. The last time I went, I was sat 4 rows away from the PM.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
