The liberal parts of the country will only benefit just as the U.S. and England benefitted from Hitler's oppression of the Jews.
Could you please connect those two dots with the issue raised in the OP?
Areas which are welcoming to minorities and treat them with respect, esp those minorities which are oppressed and despised in some places, receive the many intellectual, cultural, scientific, benefits of the creative output of those groups. Not only the oppressed groups are attracted but many others who are perceptive and value a culture which is welcoming to all. The most liberal parts of the world are always the most productive for this reason.

Rather obvious. I would think.

Good logic.

Life is like photography. You use the negative to develop.

Yet the last gay bashing where the young man was filmed having sex was bashing performed by minorities and was in the heart of liberal minded acceptance whilst right here in the heartland of ignorance as you, a liberal minded individual so overflowing with acceptance and respect maintain is nothing but a wasteland of intolerance, have gays living peacefully in small towns dotting the countryside.

This is exactly the type of post here that has lead me to despise those who call themselves liberals. It is fine to spew hate and discrimination as long as it is hate and discrimination that is to your taste.

There's a myth floating around that a large percentage of GLBT become suicidal because of the discrimination or harassment, due to a few high-profile cases. Most commonly the coping strategy is: denial, or 'going into the closet'. While that has it's own issues, some in the Bay Area GLBT community don't appreciate the opposite stereotype that gays are more fragile, or sensitive to stress, when in fact they have the same strength of character as anyone else.

Not obvious and not really accurate.

At least one ship full of Jews trying to escape Nazi Germany were denied entry into the USA, England Canada and pretty much the world.

Why?

Because the anti-Semitism that was so obviously apparent in Germany was prevalent throughout the world.

The USA was far more proactive in securing the German scientist and were somewhat tolerant of Jew who changed their names, or at least pronounced the “stine” as “steen”.

Your post would have been more accurate if only the world had welcomed the Jews. Instead we sent them to Palestine.
A sufficiently copious dose of bombast drenched in verbose writing is lethal to the truth.
