The new village administrator was the bitch who had the gall to request an audit of the program from which he was embezzling.Now emails and texts sent in the months before his death show Gliniewicz tried to plant cocaine on administrator Anne Marrin to discredit her, and even inquired about having her killed.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Sadly, that's an acute observation.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

This guy seems to have been living some sort of double life...

To me the most disgusting thing about what this guy was doing is where he was stealing money from....
He wasn't stealing drug money from the evidence locker, (which would have been bad enough)...
He was stealing money from a youth program, one that's designed to help kids stay out of trouble, and give them something positive in their lives...And then he was taking this money, and spending it on vacations and porno websites...

God damn, this guy was a one man crime syndicate. As I see it he should have pulled the trigger on himself 29 years ago.

Google "Gliniewicz" and it's absolutely sickening that he was allowed to keep his badge for so long. His "thin blue line" was made of Kevlar and Teflon. Shamefully, no one came forward to expose this mobster's criminality prior to his funeral.
If Hell existed I'd surely want him burning there for all eternity. He got off cheap.
