Wales overcame a 10-point deficit and endless injuries to pull off a sensational win against England in an astonishing World Cup contest.
Gareth Davies's late try from Lloyd Williams' brilliant cross-field kick and 23 points from Dan Biggar's unblemished boot sealed victory.
This is a devastating loss for England, for whom Owen Farrell kicked 20 points.
Jonny May scored a first-half try for the hosts, who turned down a tricky late shot at goal and paid the price.
When England led 22-12 with half an hour to play they looked to be in control, but the concession of a series of penalties, many at the breakdown, kept Wales in the game, and in a blistering finale it was the men in red who found the resolve to come through.
Given the occasion, their injuries - they saw Scott Williams, Liam Williams and Hallam Amos all forced off with nasty-looking injuries - and the importance of the occasion, this may be Wales' greatest ever win on foreign soil.
England will now have to beat Australia next Saturday to keep their own World Cup campaign alive.
It really doesn't matter what happens from here on in for Wales.

I think I might have damaged my vocal chords I can barely croak this morning and my throat is so sore from the scream I let out when we scored the try, followed by another when Biggar kicked the penalty from the halfway line which is Halfpenny territory but would normally be outside Dan's range. The final 5 mins of the game I don't think I breathed and I could barely even watch. When we shoved them into touch in the final few mins and they opted for the line out the tension levels went through the roof and when Biggar kicked for touch bang on 80 I think they heard me and Brahms shrieking in Twickenham!
Funnily enough I had been convinced we were going to win, I have said we'd win right from the announcement of the pools - yep pool of death it might be, but there are very few teams that seem to thrive on that kind of challenge as Wales do, even with all our devastating injuries and the loss of Pence and Webb I was still sure we could do it. Xeno and I said when the draw for the pools was made that for us this world cup would be considered a successful one no matter whether we got out of the pool or not provided we beat the English in "their" world cup at their home stadium - and we did anything else now is a ruddy bonus!
