I did google it. Every one of the items returned is based on the same NY Post story -- you know, the paper owned by Rupert Murdoch, the same asshole who owns Faux News. The Post's reputation for accuracy -- forget objectivity -- is even worse than those TV clowns (and is well deserved, as I can attest from personal experience).

So yeah, I'll take Snopes's word over Murdoch and the Post any day, every day, all day.

all of those in depth stories are false?

the DEO did not over rule, eh?

the superintendent did not go into the school, eh?

the petitions and interview with the PTA pres, were hoaxes , eh?

Fact is that wesw is more right than wrong in this one. It was reported on more than Fox (and more than whatever else you don't like). Their spin might be a bit hyperbolic but the story is mostly true - not mostly false

Must gargle more often....

wes believes it must be true, so the facts be damned. Par for the course.

wesw, learn to carry your own water. You can crap up threads with stupid music videos so learn to link to sources instead of stuttering crap. Now just "quote" this and be done with it

http://abc7ny.com/education/principal-i ... s/1122280/

http://www.aol.com/article/2015/12/14/p ... /21283220/

http://bpnews.net/46017/christmas-censo ... r-annually

And Fox seems to be the only one to give a detailed report on the retraction and the Education dept. message:
http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/12/14/p ... allegiance

I shall not bother linking all the blog-type articles that may simply be regurgitating the original Fox report

So where are those scriptures proving that they day of worship was changed, debt's don't have to be forgiven, and pork is ok?

You're the anti-christian bigot. You don't even care what your own scripture says. Defending pagan accretions as if they are your own dogma. Might as well worship Thor.

Most every newspaper these days is what I call a 'rip-and-read" outlet.  Whatever comes across the AP wire gets printed.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

ignorance is bliss, yet you two seem so unhappy, another theory turned on its head this silly season

but I agree about the newspaper thing, I was a newspaper addict for many, many years, but the quality of the stuff was so bad, at the end, that they weregiven up

good grief! (foreshadowing?)
