Re: This Is So Problematic, They May Want To Walk It Back...
Maybe, but my objection is that I've heard it too many times in different jokes. I guess it keeps going around the internet block and coming back because it is funny.Lord Jim wrote:I suspect that Meade's primary objection to that joke isn't the "vulgarity"...
It's the fact that the "asshole" in the joke is the person that he views as the hero of the story...
Re: This Is So Problematic, They May Want To Walk It Back...
i heard it when i was a little kid. way before the internet.
it s better when you hear me tell it as the guy was from Crisfield MD, and i do my Crisfield accent.
i do some original stuff in all sorts of accents, but it really doesn t come off on the web....
my deal island accent is spot on.....
smith island has it s own accent as does kent island...
my yogi bear is pretty good too. and howard Cosell...
i can no longer do my wolfman jack tho, too hard on the lung....

Neade is a cracker too, is he not?
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I've always been a great fan of Yiddish...
It's such an expressive language:

Not to be confused with the better known, "putz":
* sounds like a perfect description of rube...
**also an excellent description of the SCPS...

This is from the Yiddish, it means ditz, clutz, dumkoft, ninny, nincompoop, socially incompetent boob, twit, dumbass.*
