Yuck, liver and onions. I did stand back and watch and outpatient surgery, a g-tube hole needed a minor surgery, while eating my lunch. I have a poor sense of smell, which is a life advantage.Joe Guy wrote:I imagine @W has the stomach to eat liver & onions while watching a C-section but only in person. Watching it on TV would lessen the experience.... no smells...etc.

Come to think of it, I'd rather watch a C-section than eat liver & onions.

Wimps. I watched a polyp surgery in the OR in Amman, then went and had mansouf with a bunch of Jordanian urologists while watching a video of some poor French bastard being treated on a prostatron with an ultrasound probe stuffed up his arse. Yummy rice and lamb!

Re: She ruined my meal
I read recently that one of the Kartrashians — Kim, I think — was going to eat her placenta following the birth of her second child.
Now, I know that consuming the placenta is supposedly "hip" and "new age" and all that sort of hogwash and hokum, and that eating one's placenta is supposed to ward off post-partum depression (although there is no scientific evidence to back this up). However, I can't help but think that the same people who would do this would also pick their nose and eat the boogers or use their hand to wipe their bum and then lick their fingers.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Wouldn't eating ones own placenta be the ultimate in narcissism.

I find it hard to believe that this even exists...but...it's for sale on Amazon!

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

If a prized sushi tuna can sell for millions, can selective placentas be far behind?

That means if I was posting I'd have to know where the Pictures folder is, how to copy the image to the folder, how to open it in Paint, how to resize it, and then put myself out there on Facebook. I suppose I could learn to do all that, but the Facebook business is a deal-killer.MajGenl.Meade wrote:How many times? Normal people don't have right click view image... Re: She ruined my meal
It doesn't have to be Facebook. But you need a picture URL to get it on here - one can't just copy a picture from a PC folder and paste it. AFAIK.
Anyway, I was joking. No one (other than me) needs to do that. Gob puts his own photos up here by using his webshite - first they get published there then he can use the link to put 'em here - I suppose so anyway?
How do you get your own photographs on here, Guin?

Photobucket. I upload to my public account there if I want to share a photo, and the site creates links for posting. If you right click on the "properties" of my photos you can see where they are hosted.
My own website is a project for the future. I've got the URL, just not the time to create the site.
