Took a bit for Green Bay to get going, but they eventually took care of business.
Steelers and Bengals was one "chippy" game to say the least.
KC took no prisoners.
And someone should tell the Vickings holder that the laces are supposed to point away from the kicker (not that it made much of a difference as he made a FG with the laces facing him earlier in the game).

I was going to set my DVR to record the Packers/Redskins game, since I had to work last night, but somehow I goofed and had it set for "The Biggest Loser".
I ended up with the Vikings game instead.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
Hey LJ - last time the Redskins won a playoff game, Alex Ovechkin of the Capitals had 25 career goals. On Sunday he scored his 500th
Maybe you're following the wrong teamsport game

You do understand that I don't really care about the Ravens (but would root for them in a pinch), but that they won both Superbowls in which they appeared (2000/2012). Unlike the Iggles, who lost both.

Yeah, well I'm not really any kind of football fan (have never even been to the Linc, not even for a Temple game), but the Iggles are just part of the landscape around here. It is amazing how much media coverage they generate, especially considering how short the season is and how poorly they do.

The Patriots should have just tied it up, but after kicking over 500 consecutive extra points without a miss their kicker managed to boot an extra point...
Gee, if The Patriots lose, I wonder who Crybrady will blame...
He's thrown two interceptions, so it will probably be his receiver's faults... (I'm sure he'd prefer to blame the refs, but that's tough to do in this situation...)
Manning up (pun intended) and taking personal responsibility really ain't in his wheel house...
You've obviously never actually listened to Tom Brady in a post game Presser. He is the leader of the team and he takes responsibility for what happens on that field. What he will say if they end up losing is that the Pats had lots of opportunities to make plays and they didn't make enough of them. And that the Denver defense played lights out. Which it did.
I will put money on the fact that the last thing he will do is blame his receivers.

Meanwhile in a real sport, Arsenal's 10-men outplayed Chelsea's 11 but the Blues managed to hold on to win 0-1 at the Emirates. That means Spurs have gained three points on the Gunners and rejoiced that Man Utd dropped three further back. Meantime, Man City dropped 2 at West Ham. If only Leicester would lose.... Spurs looking good for the Champions League next year.

How all three players at the podium started their comments----
Tom Brady: "They got a great rush." "Tough for us to ever get a good rhythm." "I made a bad decision" (on the interception at the end. "There were a lot of plays we never made." When asked about Gostkowki missing the extra point there was no throwing him under the bus. Asked about Peyton: "He is a great player and someone I've always admired."
Stephen Gostkowski: "I let a lot of people down." Poor guy is so upset. That was the second PAT he has *ever* missed.
GRONK: "Tough time moving the ball, you have to give credit to Denver." "You win as a team, you lose as a team."
And the coach: "We could have all done a little bit more. They did a good job."
