You Heartless POS!

Post by dales »

http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Cali ... 751479.php

Dear The Callous POS owner of this dog,

He waited for you. He was being a good dog. He stayed close to the last place he saw his favorite person in the world.

He thought you were coming back. He was watching every car that would come down the road hoping it was you coming back for him. Your dog has been freezing, hungry, and scared for days because you are a heartless piece of crap.

He waited for you. He was so hungry that he was eating sticks.

He waited for you.

You abandoned someone that would give his life for you. Someone who doesn't care how long you stayed away at work. Someone who would lick the tears off your cheeks and the leftover food from your plate when u were done eating.

He won't be waiting for you anymore. After he was seen for days curled up in a ball on the road you left him, we came for him. It was getting dark and we could hear the coyotes in the distance.

We sat there for hours. We talked to him. We sat there singing to him. We fed him and offered him a blanket.

Your dog finally came closer to us as we lay down in the cold dirt telling him "everything is going to be ok and this is the last time anyone will hurt you."

Your dog finally let me pet the top of his head. He didn't panic until it was time to leave. He wanted to wait for you. He refused to walk to the van.

I had to carry your dog away from the last place he saw you. He howled the whole car ride to our shelter. He howled the most painful howl I have ever heard. It was the sound of his heart breaking.

He desperately tried to get back to the spot that you left him. He frantically checked every window then watched out the back window as we drove away. You don't deserve this amazing puppy. You don't deserve any dog at all.

He will forget about you. He will find a good home and will get the love he deserves. He will know what it's like to have a real home. I don't care who you are or your excuse as to why you abandoned my dog. You are a scumbag. I pray your year is filled with Karma.

Sincerely,

Brooke

HOW SAD

Post by RayThom »

May karma bite him in the ass ten fold, what a heartless bastard.

And this story on the eve of my daughter putting her beloved, sweet-to-a-fault, mixed-breed, Nikki down. At 16 years and in the end stages of degenerative myelopathy it is time to say goodbye. (I can't get the song "Con Te Partiro" out of my head as I write this.) I'm so torn up right now.

I've never been a "pet person" but the fact that Nikki is now on borrowed time truly chokes me up. I guess it's the close bond ol' Nikki has enjoyed with my baby. I think poor Nikki may have been abused by previous owners because as soon as my daughter would leave the house Nikki would crawl under the bed and stay there until her good friend returned.

I asked my daughter if she wanted me to be with her tomorrow but her sister will be going to the vet with them. I'm sure all caring pet owners need someone to lean on as the Rainbow Bridge inevitably materializes. This, too, shall pass.

Good doggie, Nikki, ya' did really good, girl. May you rest comfortably... forever. Good-bye.

I can't stand people who do things like that. Dogs are mans best friend and prove it over and over and what do some shits do? They abandon them or worse.
Some people do not deserve to live.

Dogs Are Better than Girlfriends (or Wives)

Post by Bicycle Bill »

It is better to have a dog than it is to have a wife or a girlfriend.  And there's a very easy way to prove this.

Lock your dog in the closet.  Come back an hour or so later and let it out.
Now do the same with your wife or girlfriend.

Which one was still happy to see you?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I'm not sure BB...

Why don't you conduct this experiment yourself and report back to us on the results? 8-)

Don't have a dog.
Or a wife or girlfriend.

It depends on the wife, and the experimental details.

I was out of town on family business for 6 days and my wife was very happy to see me. Show me a dog that will cook you a spectacular meal like she did!
