Wow! TMI. He has a comment on just about everything. That's the last Obama State of the Union Address I'm ever going to listen to.

Not only have I not listened to any of the Obama State of the Union addresses, I also have not listened to any of the Bush 41, Clinton, or Bush 43 State of the Union addresses either.

Too depressing....

There's a limit to how much cluelessness I can stomach in a Commander-In-Chief.... :?

"We have nothing to fear but gun violence and climate change"...

Small wonder that a demagogue gasbag like Trump is so popular...

We have a Commander-In-Chief, that is so totally out in La La Land, that he honestly believes that the only thing wrong with his anti- radical-Islamist terrorism strategy (which he would never call an "anti- radical-Islamist terrorism strategy" because we all know there are only two choices; our wise President's choice, and America "going it alone" with hundreds of thousands of US troops on the ground...)

is that he hasn't explained it well enough... :loon .

The only reason the American people aren't embracing this stellar success of his is because they just haven't been properly informed...He's doing a great job... The terrorists are back on their heels; the War On Terror is over...

Yeah sure, the terrorists have a territorial "caliphate" that spans two countries the size of Indiana, and they have camps in six other countries, thousands of foreign fighters and thousands more radicalized through their social media network...

But hey, the thing we have to be most concerned about is not "over reacting"...

At least we're killing as many ISIS fighters as they replace every month...

The best we can hope for so long as this man is President is a stalemate; even Hillary Clinton would be an improvement...

What if the president gave a SOU speech and no one listened. Would he still make a sound?

I did catch the end and beginning of the speech.

the "unarmed truth" line was telling.

It really is quite amazing...

We have a President who does not grasp the concept of American Leadership...

In fact, he seems to reject it...he seems repelled by the idea...

We need a President who, like Bush the Elder and Jim Baker, would put together a coalition of NATO forces and regional Sunni forces, to put these savages to ground...

But Obama ain't no GHWB, and Kerry sure as hell ain't no Jim Baker... :?

And yet......he was elected by resounding margins. Twice.

Hmmmmmmm. Perhaps the majority of the voting US does not wear LJ's glasses....

Yes, and as my mother used to say..

The masses are asses...

This is the same country that makes Donald Trump a possible president...

It is interesting that we were able to say "the Italian Mafia is evil" without saying that all Italians are evil.

But some of us cannot make the same distinction with respect to Islamic terrorists and Islam.

That's your party's problem, and hopefully you'll get it resolved before it becomes a national problem. The Republicans needs to grow some damn stones.

Bernie vs. Trump.... now that would be something to see. Question is, how can Bernie win over the black vote (which is becoming less and less relevant as they are out-minoritied) in order to carry somewhere other than the pinko states of New England? I hope he can!

I heard on the radio that Joe Biden said that he would vote for Bernie Sanders.

Does that fit in with this conversation?

I'd give a link but I can't find one or haven't looked for one. Can't remember which.
