Why would I want to do that?

I have no trouble falling asleep. ;)

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I have no trouble falling asleep.
Watching a cricket match would be the best thing for insomnia....

Not only would it knock you out in just a minute or two, there's a big advantage over sleeping pills...

Watching Cricket is completely non habit forming.....

Play has resumed on day four, with England being cautious...

Hah! By January they will all be debating bodyline. :D

Good start to the day. Carry on like this and they may even be in a position to declare and try to bowl the Aussies out on a deteriorating pitch tomorrow...

Hope springs eternal and all that...

Commentary on the net;

"Marcus North comes in with a slip and silly point in place"

That'll confuse the Americans :)

So what's your call Strop? What kind of lead/time of day would you declare at?

Ooh, ask me the easy ones why don't you? ;)

If Strauss and Cook can bat through today, start throwing the bat around if/when they get 100-130 up on the Aussies, then have the rest of the name batsmen (Peterson/Trott/Bell) come in and play like they are at a one day / 20:20 match.

Build up 200 + then dependng on time left, declare.

I think it's going to be more about managing the time at the crease than gettiing a high knock.

True. I wouldn't think about declaring before drinks tomorrow morning with a lead of 250+.

Could be worse though... I remember Athers dithering for hours before declaring too late against the Aussies and snatching a draw from the jaws of victory.
He never retired you know... on his way through Heathrow after his last tour he was asked if he had anything to declare.

He's still in the customs hall I believe...
