I don't usually do this, but one-and-a-half billion dollars is too big to not dream about, if only for a few hours...

So I just purchased 5 tickets online; in the process of doing so I discovered that Illinois is apparently the only state that legally allows online PowerBall ticket purchases, and then only if you are actually at a legally valid Illinois address. (Lucky me...I hope! ;) )

OK yeah - I bought 10 for you. Just send me the cash in a brown envelope or a suitable gift

Your tickets didn't win, BTW. Sorry

He died. Send it to his legal representative at the last known address.

Well, it was fun dreaming big for just a little while. Three of my five tickets had one number each.

So...which one of the Californians here went all the way down to Chino Hills to buy that winning ticket?

Personally, I think there will be a minimum of 2 and I will guess 3 total.

Good guessing, rubato.  I heard there were three winning tickets sold — one in Chino Hills (CA), and unspecified locations in Florida and Tennessee.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Very, very, big odds will dictate is not her.

However, if it is her, let her know how much you have missed her over the years and, as you both approach the autumn of your lives, it's about time you got together to reminisce and recapture those magic moments you've shared together. Most of all, give no hint of insincerity nor hypocrisy. Good luck.

I have never met the lady, she is in her 70's and we have been corresponding online for about 2 years. I have sent her presents and so forth, we exchange pictures and day to day updates.

She offered to send me 2 full length fur coats that she has no opportunity to wear in Florida. Horrified by fur coats as I am, I resisted the temptation to unload on owning fur and simply declined her kind offer.

I imagine her family will be the biggest benefactors of her windfall, and I would decline anything but a visit from her.

I respect that, as well as your consideration of her feeling regarding fur coats. :ok

By all means, be sincere.
If you can fake that, you've got it made.
