US citizens freed by Iran

Post by MajGenl.Meade »

I note that the praise for the "rescue" of five or so US citizens that coincided with the nuclear deal has not received nearly as much press - especially from Trumpedupstuff - as the earlier criticism that the nuclear deal was agreed without any such "rescue".

I wonder why that is? :shrug

I agree with that but also reserve judgment in case there is a secret side-deal allowing the Iranians to save face by releasing them some time after Congress approves (or Obama vetoes their disapproval) of the deal.

I'm sure that out in the blogosphere, the wingnut right is somehow furious at Obama for securing the prisoners' release.

But I just can't be bothered to look.

Oh - I was thinking more of (even) a begrudging "good job"

Hasn't the TrumptyDump claimed the prisoners were freed because of him.

So apparently monkeys fly out of his butt, anyway.
