People should clean off the roofs of their cars/trucks/suvs before venturing out the day after a snow storm.
I am tired of a roofs snow sheet blowing off the car in front of me and slamming into my car.
There ought to be a law. I think NJ has one. :ok

There is in Massachusetts as well, the signs were lit yesterday reminding drivers to clean snow from their vehicles or face a citation. :ok

What, flipping the sunroof open to dislodge the ice sheet off my roof COINCIDENTALLY while being tailgated isn't proper road etiquette?

Eh, it never snows much around here anyway.

The answer to that great longing question...

If Karen Carpenter had Cass Elliot's sandwich, they'd both be alive today...

4.5 hours until it's time for wine. Something sophisticated, I shouldn't wonder:

But probably the 1.5 litre size because there's always tomorrow...

You're retired, why wait? Nothing wrong with a nice glass of wine with lunch.

When I was out of work I started doing that. (not wine but bourbon) Then it was with breakfast and lunch. Then it was with all meals (and snacks). Then it was instead of eating. It ended when it was instead of breathing. :shrug :loon

But that's just me. :o :D

Liquor stores? You must live in the back of the back of beyond... they sell these in supermarkets. Oh, and they sell liquor in the supermarkets here in O hi! O

Hey, Guin. I am retired but still have some standards. (Not sure that should be plural tho').

Listen, now there's a random thought; isn't it annoying when people say "I may be from Chicago but.." when they actually are from Chicago?

Or "I may be retired but...." when I am retired? It's stupid. It's not "may be" - it's 'am'...... What? They aren't sure if they're from Chicago or are retired or whatever it is?

Sheesh. And no; the wine has arrived but there's still 2 hrs and 44 mins to go.

"Are you serious right now?"

A bit of teenage doggerel I get from my daughter...

"What, as opposed to not being serious 'right now'?"

"Do you think I was "serious" in some sort temporal time warp to the past that doesn't include "right now"?

(That tends to earn me rolling eyes... 8-) )

Given your witty follow up line about temporal displacement, shouldn't this:
"What, as opposed to not being serious 'right now'?"

be this:

"What, as opposed to being serious not right now'?" :?:
