 :ok
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

With the "unfollow" feature it is possible to achieve this without changing platforms. I have unfollowed most of my family, inlaws and friends on account of their politics.

Are you related to a bunch of liberals? :shrug

... and don't read the Home feed. Just read your own page. No new platform needed - just the one (+ don't show posts from...) will do it

Most of the inlaws and family are conservatives, and not the good kind, the kind that "teabag" virtually every post, and unfortunately my friends are mostly progressive liberals who refuse to actually think through anything, simply toeing the progressive line, whether it makes any sense or not. I love them all but each one makes me crazy in their unique ways.

Okay, the above is a joke, and carries to the extreme what @w pointed out -- that social media without most/all the "social" is already possible. But, in practice, why would you not read the Home news feed after you have sanitized it by excluding all the folks and sources that annoy you? Isn't the point to keep up with friends/family (at least the ones who don't annoy you with their posts)?

I'd like to respond to some of the things posted in this thread, but I haven't read any of them...

Except this one of course...

I could respond to you with a brilliant, pithy, and witty retort...

Were it not for the fact that I've got every poster here besides myself on ignore...

What a coincidence!! I have everyone on 'ignore' also. It makes for a much more insightful reading experience and interesting exchange of ideas.

I had you on ignore before you ignored me.
