I weep for our future
Re: I weep for our future
That's why I haven't been able to find my horrorscope recently!
Re: I weep for our future
Aw geez...
I ain't as big fan of Ted Cruz, but I draw the line at blaming him for being a serial killer when he was a toddler...

Re: I weep for our future
I firmly believe this falls under the "ask a stupid question" category
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: I weep for our future
How many people believe that Barack Obama was born in Kenya?
How many college students named Judge Judy as a justice on the Supreme Court?
I'm sorry, I say it with all the affection I can muster, but you are a nation of idiots.

If Donald Trump wins the election, that might turn out to be an accurate answer...How many college students named Judge Judy as a justice on the Supreme Court?
She seems like just the sort he would nominate...

I am quite sure Canada is wall to wall rocket surgeons.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

30% of Canadians still managed to vote Conservative in the last federal election, so I certainly cannot object to your sarcasm.TPFKA@W wrote:I am quite sure Canada is wall to wall rocket surgeons.
But - "rocket surgeons"? Mix metaphors much?

It's a common metaphor mixing to enhance the absurdity. Possibly invented by Chris Rock or the like. But - "rocket surgeons"? Mix metaphors much?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Re: I weep for our future
Floriduh... yeah, Ted Cruz born in 1970 was the Zodiac killer whose last confirmed victim was attacked in 1969. However, I'm less concerned about old farts thinking rubbish than I am about the polling organization asking such a stupid question.Public Policy Polling, a Democratic polling firm, asked the question relating to the bizarre Internet rumor after dedicating its inclusion "weird twitter", when asked if it would appear on their latest round of voter polls.
It is not remotely akin to asking people if they believe Obama was born in Kenya. Obama wasn't born in Kenya but he could have been - whereas Cruz could not possibly (in any scenario) be the Zodiac killer.
As to Judge Judy, the students were not asked that question at all. They were given the name "Judy Sheindlin" among others. 10% of them picked that name as being a Supreme Court judge - ignorant but not as ignorant as Canadians who tell lies or organizations who set out to undermine a political opponent by asking "have you stopped beating your wife" questions.
But speaking of murder, what on earth does the quoted sentence above (alleged sentence) mean? It is utterly incoherent.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I think Cruz is the product of secretly developed advanced cloning technology:

Always the most outrageous answers/people/view points are going to get the coverage. The intelligent, thought out, articulated response doesn't sell.
