OUCH!
Re: OUCH!
Dang, that almost happened to me years ago at a wildlife "safari" drive thru (acres of free range for the animals with a dirt road to drive on). We were stopped behind a line of cars and there was a flatbed truck off to the side with bales of hay, and the truck had lots of dents. Just then a rhino wandered over and tried to nibble on the hay while it was still on the truck, got his horn stuck in the baling wire, and got as mad as, well, a rhino. He added a few dents to the truck then bolted right at us, but there was just barely enough space between us and car behind us and we avoided a unique insurance claim. Saw the guy about 30 minutes later on the other side of the park and he was still stomping around angry as all get out.

Years ago my dad had just bought a brand new Datsun B210. I borrowed it and took my girlfriend to great Adventure amusement park in NJ and we drove through the "safari" portion of hte park. In the bear area, a bear came over and ripped the end of the bumper off.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
