Signs That the Apocalypse is Upon Us

Post by Bicycle Bill »

It's official — baseball is going to the dogs.

Not that I was planning on doing so, but this is one reason I won't be attending any of the Diamondbacks' Sunday afternoon home games at Chase Field.
Special seating areas and ticket packages for dogs at a major-league ballpark.
Seriously, are people that wacked-out that they can't even leave the damned dog at home to go to a ballgame?  How in the hell do they manage when they go to work, or are all employers going to have to start providing on-site doggy day-care?

They must realize that their team stinks if they have to come up with something like this to attract fans to the ballpark.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Ah, take a breath... it's springtime. And a cheap seat is only $35 a game.

Yes... baseball has finally gone to the dogs.

If you’re like me, and lets face it, most people reading this are, then you LOVE getting out and about with your dog, especially if its somewhere new and normally unaccepted. This is why Bark and the Park at Dodger’s Stadium is such an exciting event. America’s favorite past time, a day outside, dodger dogs AND the company of your favorite furry friend! Perfect!

Dodgers.com says,

“On Saturday, May 11, the Dodgers will hold another Natural Balance Bark in the Park at Dodger Stadium. Fans that purchase a special event ticket in the Coca-Cola All-You-Can-Eat Right Field Pavilion are invited to bring their dogs to the park and help cheer on their home team as the Dodgers host the Miami Marlins at 6:10 p.m.” Click here to read more.

Arrive early for the Pup Parade and Rally.

Contests include: Dog that looks most like Tillman (Tillman, the skateboarding dog), Dog that shows most Dodger Spirit, Biggest Dog, and Smallest Dog.
