Name That Movie!
Re: Name That Movie!
A little digression about Sudden Impact...Sudden Impact was on over the weekend.
I have long been convinced that the writers for that film lifted the plot from a lurid low budget horror flick made a few years earlier called I Spit On Your Grave (which has since become something of a cult film)...
Here's the plot synopsis for Sudden Impact (1983):
And here's the plot synopsis for I Spit On Your Grave (1978):Jennifer Spencer (Sondra Locke) an artist, was gang raped, but the crime went unpunished. Now she demands revenge, killing off the men that attacked her years before.
They could have at least changed the character's name...Jennifer (Sarah Butler), a writer, rents an isolated cabin in the country so she can work on her latest novel. The peace and quiet is soon shattered by a gang of local thugs who rape and torture her, then leave her for dead. But she returns for vengeance, trapping the men one by one.

Oh, you just had to remind me of that bath scene....
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I'm gonna live forever
I'm gonna learn how to fly
I feel it coming together
People will see me and cry
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame
I'm gonna live forever
Baby, remember my name
I'm gonna learn how to fly
I feel it coming together
People will see me and cry

Baby, remember my name

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
