If you find yourself watching MTV's Catfish every Tuesday nightand drooling over host Nev Schulman, you're not alone. The 28-year-old New York native has legions of lustful fans (including fellow MTV star Chelsea Houska from Teen Mom 2), but he only has eyes for one leading lady — his girlfriend, Shanee Pink.

Before you break open the boxed wine and cry yourself to sleep, you should know that Shanee is totally worthy of Nev's geektastic love. This half-Israeli cutie is a songwriter, graphic designer, and all-around intellectually curious gal. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Tel Aviv, she's traveled around the world and back again and along the way somehow found herself in the arms of Mr. Catfish.

"I'm so proud of my girlfriend @shaneepink - her song 'Spreading in the Light' was in tonights #catfish and is so beautiful," Nev tweeted on September 10.

Nev first announced the news of his relationship with Shanee back in January, promising fans they didn't meet on the Internet. "Yes, she’s totally real, and no, we didn’t meet online," he wrote with a wink emoji.

While we're bawling our eyes out slightly disappointed to learn that Nev is off the market (like we had a chance!), we're not surprised he went for a girl like Shanee. After all, he has a thing for the artsy type. Around the time he starred in the movie Catfish, he had an on-again-off-again relationship with a professional ballerina. Talk about standards!

I had never heard of Mr. Schulman, (my MTV watching days are pretty much behind me) and had no idea what his sexual preferences were; I just did a quick search and came across this...

I mention this because I don't want anyone to get the impression that I am a regular reader of "wetpaint.com"...

I have never been to that website before and after reading a bit of it; a bunch of celebrity gossip about "celebrities" I have never heard of and have no interest in, (stories with headlines like : "Which Real Housewives of New Jersey Star Is Going to Be a Grandma?"...curiously enough, I was able to resist the temptation to read that one...)

I doubt I'll ever have occasion to go to it again...
