Name That Movie!

Lawrence Shannon: I want to explain something to you... A man has got just so much in his emotional bank balance. Mine has run out. It's stone dry. I can't draw a check on it. There's nothing left to draw out.

(Psst, Dale...
For future reference, you should probably remove the name of the character when you post the quote...
)

Looks like snail beat me to it...

I left the character's name to make it easier, silly me.

Um, LJ, you were the one with the answer... Dales posted the last one.

Re: Name That Movie!
Well, technically Jim did *NAME* That Movie...but BP/snailgate's post just before Jim's made it clear that he knew what movie it was from.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

I erred in saying that Dale was tardy, but I did expect that snail would give the next quote...(since he clearly demonstrated that he knew the answer before I did; his post beat mine by two minutes...)
However, I'm more than happy to give the next quote:
"The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet warrior in the classic sense."

Das Poet?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Name That Movie!
Jim--one of my favorites; but like you have in the past, I'll hold off answering for a while.
Name That Movie!
"Johnny Cool"

“In a world whose absurdity appears to be so impenetrable, we simply must reach a greater degree of understanding among us, a greater sincerity.”
Re: Name That Movie!
I appreciate that Big RR...but like you have in the past, I'll hold off answering for a while.
You and I seem to have cluttered our minds with more film quote knowledge than others, and we could just go back and forth...
But what fun would that be?

Well BSG, I'm not the John Daly or Gary More here, but I'd say you win $30 plus a carton of Winston cigarettes; remember, Winston tastes good, like a cigarette should.

My mother smoked Winstons, I never really cared for them. Was a Marlboro Lights girl myself.
