Name That Movie!
Re: Name That Movie!
That was going to be the next one I posted if no one got it after a while. It does rather give it away, so thanks.

Now, now Jim--if you want to answer, then answer. The first quote was pretty recognizable, but as Scooter says, this one pretty much gives it away.

Re: Name That Movie!

Re: Name That Movie!
I will try a hint and another quote (so as not to completely give it away as Jim did earlier)
The hint - the film featured a much younger Anthony Hopkins and Timothy Dalton, but not in the leading roles.
And another quote:

And another quote:
-- My God, if I went up in flames there's not a living soul who'd pee on me to put the fire out!

Okay, everyone's gotten enough of a chance; I claim the win...

This one's chock-a-block with dysfunctional marital relationship quotes:

Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine were the original John and Blanche Bickerson....
ETA:
Or if you don't get that reference, the original Al and Peg Bundy...

Of course he has a knife, he always has a knife, we all have knives! It's 1183 and we're barbarians!

Re: Name That Movie!
I was going to give it to you by default because no else was even trying. So another win for Mr. Encyclopedia of Film.

Re: Name That Movie!
I'm afraid you've got me mistaken for Mr. Big RR...So another win for Mr. Encyclopedia of Film.
My knowledge of film quotes are a mere shadow of his...

I think this is going to be an easy one...(If you're at all familiar with the film)
To make this even easier...(for everyone except Big RR, who I'm sure already knows the answerToday I want to bless everything. Bless the crawfish with it's scuttling walk. Bless the trout, pilchard and periwinkle. Bless Ted Smoothey of 22 East Hackney Road. Bless the mealy redpole, the black-gloved wallaby and W.C. Fields, who is dead but lives on. Bless the snotty-nosed giraffe. Bless the buffalo. Bless the Society of Women Engineers. Bless the pygmy hippy. Bless the mighty cockroach.

This quote is from a film that is from a far lesser known work starring the same actor as Scooter's movie...
