This woman is so full of schidtt it's no wonder she's buying rolls of toilet paper by the dozen.
I wonder.... If she were to lose her job — or more likely, her husband lose the job that is keeping her in toilet paper — and they needed a helping hand from the government in the form of unemployment, disability, or (gasp!) food stamps whether she'd be singing the same tune. Probably not — I betcha she'd be shoving little kids, pregnant women, the handicapped, and the elderly out the way so she could get to the head of the line faster in order to get on the gravy train herself. -"BB"-
Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
Didnt look She had missed many meals Herself .That poor kid ,it was no telling why He even needed foodstamps ,God Bless the welfare system ,if it wasnt for the foresight and generosity of some people ,there would be a lot more hunger in this great nation ,sharing is one thing that made this country great and helped the average person achieve a decent standard of living .We dont need pompous vigilantes downing those they do not know ,that young man showed pretty good restraint ,in that situation ,when confronted like that ,I can sometimes get the attacker to recant .
Unless someone is managing to scam the system big time Welfare is no gravy train but mere survival. I would rather live in a country that has a welfare system even if it is being abused a little than one that doesn’t. I don’t mind paying my part to support it.
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.
Help these old ears with the video, please? It seems that the obnoxious lady was loudly declaiming something to her child about food stamp freeloaders - but what was she actually saying at the beginning?
I gather the gentleman's significant other was prompted to turn on the cell-phone camera because the woman had already said quite a bit - and I can certainly make out the rest of the exchange. But that precipitating commentary is what I couldn't make out.
(I don't think either one of the antagonists serves as a shining example to children - but the woman was definitely in the wrong based on what was recorded)
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
If only we made the poor suffer more it would bring in the millennium.
More and stouter cattle prods! Nettles in their pants! Set fire to their hovels and shame their children at school until they can't raise the energy to fight back any more.
Can I get an a-men!
Pull that forelock
Grovel on your knees
Being poor in a America
Is a sin if you please.

Thanks!

Something has happened,I dont know what .I know some families are not all that supportive of their charges and relatives .However( and I am probably wrong ,there seems to be more people now that just plain cant make and some (know some cases in this little area )are simply incapable of holding a job ,very dysfunctional . all are not lazy ,some are just not capable ,I dont know why .
Mental illness? Cognitive deficits? Physical disability? Invisible chronic health condition?
Most people don't choose life on food stamps, folks. It gets forced on them by life's shit squirts. The Reagan myth of the welfare queen living like a hog off the poor taxpayer is just that - myth. Waste and abuse in the social welfare system is far from widespread.
Jesus loves the poor; so should you.

Agreed, and surely not for anyone who has the prospects of upward mobility. I'm on SNAP, and a low fixed income, and I'm happy for the assist -- with no apologies.
I have received more that my share of rude comments when I display my ACCESS card. "You don't look poor" or "you don't look disabled" -- I've heard these two snide comments more than a few times. And when I say "fuck off" I'm told that I don't have to curse and get nasty about it especially with children around.
Ignorance comes in all sizes and shapes. It's such a treat to go food shopping.
